Increasingly, both Social Security and Medicare
rob the poor to give to the rich.

Tell me again who thinks this is a good idea?

thought government should engineer the housing market

FDR created both the Federal Housing Administration (aka FHA) and the ponzi scheme called Social Security.

LBJ created both the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, (aka HUD) and the ponzi scheme known as Medicare (along with Medicaid).
