McCotter to introduce resolution for Obama apology

Quoting The Washington Times:
“U.S. Rep. Thaddeus McCotter said Monday he intends to introduce a resolution in Congress calling on President Obama to apologize for saying Boston-area police officers ‘acted stupidly’ in arresting a black Harvard professor, despite not knowing all of the facts and acknowledging the suspect is a friend.”
Will Mr. Apology offer one when it’s really needed?

Saying the police “acted stupidly” is not a miscalibration of words. It is a direct offense. Obama has not yet offered an apology; he has only made matters worse by blaming others for misunderstanding his intent. Sorry, the President’s intent was very, very clear. And the apology is WAY overdue.
