In a breath-taking display of brazen dishonesty and callous hypocrisy, Dims are trying to blame the Tucson tragedy on Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and anybody who ever came even remotely close to sympathizing with the TEA Party. At least one nut job went so far as to suggest:

“Federal troops should start rounding up tea party members”

To his credit, Obama has not yet participated in that lunacy. But, his base is pressuring him to join in. There are countless reasons why doing so would be innappropriate. As the above quote demonstrates, it would also be political suicide.
