Warmists link climate change to mental illness

Quoting The Sydney Morning Herald:
“RATES of mental illnesses including depression and post-traumatic stress will increase as a result of climate change, a report to be released today says.

The paper, prepared for the Climate Institute, says loss of social cohesion in the wake of severe weather events related to climate change could be linked to increased rates of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress and substance abuse.”
This is recycled hysteria mongering dating back to the aftermath of hurricane Katrina (a man made disaster caused by political corruption).

Of course, the problem with this purely political propaganda is that the comprehensive data for both hurricanes AND tornadoes suggest that there is NO correlation between warming (man made or otherwise) and severe weather.

But, as every propagandist knows
Repeat a lie often enough and many a fool will fall for the lie.

  1. Constant hysteria and panic are signs of mental illness and it is evident that Bill McKibben needs help. Bill said that Irene had a middle name and it was "global warming". To me it looks like Irene also had a last name and it was "Hype"
