Obama Friends Call Character Into Question

If a Republican candidate had launched his political career at the home of an abortion-clinic bomber — even a repentant one — he would not have been able to run for dogcatcher in Podunk. And Ayers shows no remorse. His only regret is that he ‘didn't do enough.’ ”

Yes, the economy has overrun this issue.
Yes, it is, regrettably, now too late for this issue to be effective.
Yes, that is yet another American tragedy foisted on us by a despicable “press”.
Yes, McCain was dead wrong to try to play the “nice guy” on this issue.
McCain would have been 1,000% correct to go for the jugular on this (and should have).
But, if Obama fans pay attention this Wednesday night, McCain should win anyway.
