Thomas Friedman Laments Democracy, Prefers Totalitarianism

In this video clip, Friedman inadvertently gives us a glimpse into the (normally more well concealed) totalitarian mindset of the so-called “Progressives”.

Let’s acknowledge up front that Friedman merely wants our Constitutional Republic to function in an equivalent manner to Chinese Communism. And, Friedman only wants this for just one day -- just long enough to impose his far superior Socialist Utopia on the unwashed masses. Then, once he has had his way -- by imposing his version of “the right solutions”, we can have our Constitutional Republic back (what little may be left of it).

Quoting Thomas Friedman (of the New York Times):

“What if we could just be China for a day… where we could actually authorize the right solutions… on everything from the economy to [the] environment?”

1) ALL totalitarians see our system as “sub-optimal”.
It was DESIGNED to be “sub-optimal” (in the eyes of tyrants).

2) China as a model for environmental solutions?
REALLY? SERIOUSLY?
