Even Paul Krugman Knows Death Panels are Real

I previously documented exactly where the Death Panels (in a manner of speaking) were described in a previous incarnation of the ObamaCare legislative language.

Today, Paul Krugman acknowledges that -- when government controls health care, government bureaucrats decide who lives and who dies.

Once the “Progressives” control our health care system, they then have to control our eating habits. You see, this too is a matter of controlling government spending. The government has to spend way too much to treat obesity related illness; therefore, the government must prevent obesity.

This is the slippery slope. Every new venture into regulating our lives cascades into countless more ventures into regulating our lives. Soon, we will have no freedom to make any of our own choices.
