A 'Teachable Moment' for Obama

Obama has, of late, relied upon his minions to spread his gospel that the national debt limit must be raised. One might wonder why Obama seems less than eager to promote this agenda himself. Could it be that Obama does not want to risk being schooled by (wait for it…) Obama?

You see, in March of 2006 -- before Dims took control of both houses of Congess (in January of 2007) and before Obama’s reckless spending sent our deficit spending off a cliff -- Obama said (before voting AGAINST raising the debt ceiling):
“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure… America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”
“Failure of leadership”? “Americans deserve better”? Gee Barry, I could not have said it better myself. 2012 cannot come soon enough for me!
