Congress to NASA - Study Space, Not Climate

“Members of Congress are asking something novel of NASA: to actually study space, not global warming…
In budget year 2010, NASA spent 7.5% of its funding — over $1B — to study global warming. On top of that — the vast majority of federal stimulus money given to NASA in 2010 was spent on studying global warming.
As a whole, the U.S. federal government has spent $8.7 billion dollars on global warming studies — just in the past year! Many of the sixteen separate agencies doing this work were performing redundant research. In a time of federal spending cuts that are sure to come, much of this redundancy certainly can and must be eliminated, saving taxpayers billions. Certainly NASA should be one of the first to see funding drastically cut, or eliminated entirely, in this area.”

House Votes to Block EPA Tyranny
“The House voted to block the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse-gas emissions from power plants, refineries and other stationary sources.

Saudi Oil Reserves Overestimated by 40%?

V as Pop Culture Propaganda
The most recent episode of the TV show V is titled “Concordia”. About half way through that episode, fabricated anti-American propaganda is presented as incontrovertible fact. I am referring to the smallpox blankets propaganda fabricated by the infamous former CU Boulder “professor” Ward Churchill and documented in the link below.
Virtually all forms of pop culture entertainment today are rife with brazenly false anti-American propaganda. V generally contains less than most. But, not even V is immune. Using popular entertainment as a propaganda vehicle is nothing new -- it’s as old as human culture. George Bernard Shaw and other Fabian Socialists exploited pop culture to “great” effect. American Socialists today are continuing that tradition.
The question is…
Do we blame ABC and the producers of V for spreading Ward Churchill’s lies? How about the “news” media for uncritically promoting his lies? Or do we blame academia for allowing a bald faced liar such as Ward Churchill to poison not only our children, but our entire culture -- nay, the perceptions of the entire world? The truth is that blame lies with all of the above (and more).

Local Housing Authority Most Tone Deaf of all
Steamboat Springs is a haven for so-called “Progressives”. Call yourself a Democrat and you’ll be elected. Steamboat voters rarely turn down the chance to raise taxes, especially if said tax increase purports to assist the “needy”.
So, you have to know that our local Housing Authority -- imposed upon us WITHOUT our consent and CLEARLY against our will -- has screwed up REALLY badly when (at the moment) 90% of those responding to a poll oppose raising our property tax in order to (supposedly) provide more “affordable housing”.
Yep, that’s right…
In the twisted world of the so-called “Progressives” at the local (utterly illegitimate) Housing Authority, raising property taxes will make housing more “affordable”. Sadly, this is NOT the first time these tyrannical lunatics have applied that sort of “logic”.
Hell, even the Far Left nut jobs at our local paper have advised them NOT to waste their time and NOT to embarrass themselves in this manner -- these are the same “journalists” who have long ADVOCATED for the so-called “Affordable Housing” agenda.
So, just when we thought NOBODY could possibly be MORE tone deaf than Nancy Pelosi, our local pinheads put poor little Nancy to shame. That’s right! Knowing that they don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of passing this lunacy, these morons are determined to waste their time and waste MORE of our money on a ballot issue which is CERTAIN to embarrass them YET AGAIN!
Oh, by the way…
Did any of these FOOLS notice that it was their “Affordable Housing” stupidity which created the global financial mess?
