Collapse of the Greek Middle Class Welfare System

When it comes, there will be nobody left to bail us out (as if anybody would anyway).

Our collapse will mark the fall of the last remaining pillar of Western Civilization.

Is it ironic that the first pillar of Western Civilization to collapse (Greece) is the very birthplace of Western Civilization? Or, is that just the natural life cycle? Is it therefore natural that we would be the last to fall (and fall the hardest)?

Our only (marginal) hope (just as a starting point) is to get the 80% who oppose any reforms to the Big Three Entitlements to understand their deadly folly (and, that ain’t gonna happen).

The monstrous bureaucracies in Washington D.C. (and every state capital, every county seat and every city hall) will take us down sure as shit.

Western Civilization -- it was nice while it lasted. We fell to the entitlement mentality. We did it to ourselves. We can only blame ourselves (well, those of us who fell under the spell of the siren song of the middle class welfare state).
