Environmentalism as an Excuse for Totalitarianism

Jonah Goldberg correctly describes modern American Liberalism as a “totalitarian political religion”. Environmental extremism has been correctly described as the new religion. Politicians presiding over environmental policy -- and lacking ANY formal education in ANY branch of science -- no longer bother to disguise their overt Global Socialist agenda. The examples are endless.

And now, a prominent professor and IPCC contributor who believes we are just not capable of governing ourselves openly declares (emphasis mine):

“Government in the future will be based upon . . . a supreme office of the biosphere. The office will comprise specially trained philosopher/ecologists. These guardians will either rule themselves or advise an authoritarian government of policies based on their ecological training and philosophical sensitivities. These guardians will be specially trained for the task.”

Folks, the Global Warming agenda has NOTHING to do with the environment and EVERYTHING to do with promoting global tyranny rooted in a new and more terrifying form of theocracy. Increasingly, some of the most prominent “leaders” of this purely political movement are not even pretending to disguise their true agenda.
