Kate Walsh - Entertainers should shut up & entertain

Most entertainers (for their own sake) should shut up and entertain. Kate Walsh (displaying both ignorance & arrogance on the subject of oil) is a classic example.

About the only thing she got right is that oil is a global market and USA oil independence is -- therefore -- a fantasy. We could achieve oil independence, but only after developing our vast resources AND only after (tyrannically) forcing domestic energy producers to only sell their energy domestically.

Beyond that, she regurgitated the same tired old Leftist lies, distortions and absurdities:

1) The lie that the USA has only 2% of global oil.

2) The absurdity that we should not drill now because it will not reduce gasoline prices tomorrow. Jay Leno addressed that stupidity as well as anybody.

3) The lie that domestic drilling will never have a significant impact on gasoline prices. Yes, I know the EIA published a report concluding that ANWR would do little to reduce the price of gasoline. That report was published by people who clearly have no understanding of economics, not even the most basic principles of supply and demand.

The fact is that:

1) ANWR alone could have prevented the global price spikes of 2008 (and 2011).

2) The USA easily has 6 to 7 times the proven reserves of Saudi Arabia.

Hey! Kate! You’re not as smart and not as well informed as you think you are! You are ONLY well indoctrinated (and -- demonstrably -- quite the fool).

Unless and until you become better educated and less likely to make an absolute fool of yourself, SHUT UP AND ENTERTAIN!
