Ms. Miller made two incendiary comments:
“To me that seems treasonous.”Taken in context, the second comment was clearly only a desperate bid for attention - she got it. But, the first comment was clearly not facetious. So, Ms. Miller considers Rush guilty of a VERY serious crime, but only jokes about actually punishing the crime? Only in the “mind” of a Leftist, that would make perfect sense!
“maybe Rush Limbaugh should be executed for treason”
Desperate attention seeking behavior aside, the breathtaking ignorance and hypocrisy of Ms. Miller’s first comment is worth noting. Remember, many others on the Left have said the very same thing.
Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution defines treason this way:
“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.”By that definition, it is easily arguable that Senator Reid was guilty of treason when he declared we had already lost the war in Iraq - just as we were winning that war. But, there is absolutely, positively no way that Limbaugh’s comments could be construed to have been treasonous (except in the “mind” of a typically ignorant Leftist).
This is another classic example of Leftists always turning to the doctrine of “moral equivalence”. Each time Leftists are found committing their latest atrocity, their first instinct is always to claim “moral equivalence” - the equivalent of little Johnnie feebly attempting to justify his atrocious behavior by falsely alleging to his mommy “all the other kids do it”.
Ms. Miller played the “moral equivalence” card in at least two major ways:
1) By falsely claiming Limbaugh - like Reid - was arguably guilty of treason.
2) By falsely implying that Limbaugh - like her - was merely seeking attention when he expressed his principle based hope that Obama would fail to destroy this country.
PATHETIC! As always.
P.S.) Obama clearly has a Socialist agenda and is well on his way to implementing it. I too hope Obama fails!
