The Dims have a very long and sordid history with Crony Capitalism. The incestuous relationship between General Electric and the Obama administration is -- arguably -- the most visible and most egregious current example. But, it hardly stops there. Wall Street has been in bed with both Republicans and Democrats -- but, mostly with Democrats. Through the “club” wielded by these Crony Capitalists, Wall Street has privatized their rewards and socialized their risks (at our collective expense and with millions in rewards to the utterly corrupt Dim politicians).

The following clip -- uploaded by the Leftists at ThinkProgress -- first documents that many of our best leaders admire Ayn Rand and then jumps to uber-Leftist Mike Wallace interviewing Ayn Rand. The interview only covers two topics, altruism and religion -- I discuss both after the clip.

1) Is it a myth that Ayn Rand considered Medicare to be profoundly evil? No, that is true. The myth promoted by the Dims is that Medicare is not profoundly evil. It is an easily quantified fact that Medicare is profoundly evil.

Of all the insane assumptions on the part of Leftists, nothing is more insane than the Leftist assumption that if government does not provide “charity”, then nobody will. The obvious fact is that government is the worst possible way to deliver any goods and any services. This is especially true of “charity”.

2) If one defines altruism as doing that which provides for the common good, then Rand did not oppose altruism per se, she opposed those activities which most falsely imagine to provide for the common good. Ayn Rand correctly understood that Capitalism -- the “selfish” pursuit of the profit motive -- is the ONLY human activity which EVER truly provides for the common good.

3) Religion…
Yes, Ayn Rand was an atheist. So what? Perhaps her distaste for religion was largely driven by the way the collectivist mindset had corrupted religion -- Liberation Theology, anyone?

Government folly got us here and government folly will ensure that the ride just gets rougher for a longer period. So, hang on tight! It is going to be a rather rough ride (made all the worse by the same sorts of ignorant morons who brought us to this point in the first place). After this ride, we will, in the short term, see more prosperous days. But, in the long haul, the long term structural changes wrought by the so-called “Liberals” will kill this once great nation. If you doubt me, then you have not examined the evidence offered above.
