Another 'joke' about jailing CAGW 'deniers'

In a previous post, I noted several very disturbing examples of the totalitarian mindset of the CAGW alarmist crowd. The travesties -- some fantasized, some not -- span the gamut from jailing to murdering those deemed to be “deniers”. Some of these travesties are allegedly “just a joke”. In other cases there are serious suggestions -- from VERY prominent people -- that questioning CAGW dogma is “criminal”. At least one went so far as seriously propose “the jailing and execution of global warming deniers”.

One would think that the backlash from SplatterGate might have given the propagandists some pause to question such an extremist approach. Apparently not!

On 12/27/2010, Andrew Revkin -- writing in the New York Times -- says:

“There are quite a few video clips out there aiming to distinguish weather from climate, but the best — to my mind — is the one that follows:”

Jail time for politically incorrect views on climate change? Really? Alarmists find that appropriate, even as a joke?

So, in the minds of the alarmists…
The 2010 El Nino driven warmth was “climate”, but the 2010 La Nina driven big freeze was just “weather”? Really? Seriously?

I wonder…
Is a 23 year USA winter trend “climate” or “weather”. Is a 15 year global trend “climate” or “weather”? The answer (clearly) depends upon whether the trend fits the CAGW propaganda.

Perhaps the creator of the film could explain the “climate” vs. “weather” concept to Simon Schuster and Time Magazine (and many, many others in the alarmist camp).

Is one man’s “climate” another man’s “weather”?

Alarmists desperately want us to ONLY focus on the last 150 years (of wildly unreliable data).

But, the bigger (and FAR more accurate) picture shows that both the Arctic AND the Antarctic are experiencing an on-going, uninterrupted 10,000 year cooling trend which shows NO SIGNS of abating. The citation links and more details are found here and here.

Call it weather or call it climate. By either name, Gaia played a particularly amusing joke on the CAGW propagandist boondoogle in Cancun this year! Now THAT is FUNNY!

Totalitarian tyranny is NOT funny. Right now, those opposed to the regulation of CO2 are winning in the court of public opinion AND in the scientific community, but the purely political tyrants have imposed their tyranny anyway.

EPA to Regulate CO2

For Google’s CEO & propaganda filmmaker James Cameron,
that shocking concept just rolls right off the tongue:

1) Will these two follow precedent and apologize for their tyrannical suggestions? I doubt it. Unfortunately, these sorts of suggestions are becoming increasingly common and acceptable within the increasingly self-righteous alarmist community. We even have depictions of children (and adults) being blown up for expressing skepticism and implicit calls for children to engage in eco-terrorism.

2) Did you catch Cameron’s nod to the latest fad in Hollywood elitist eco-hysteria -- biodiversity?

3) Do either of these guys have ANY academic training in ANY branch of science? Yeah, sorry, I forgot, no such training is required even to “lead” the IPCC.

EPA Tyrants - Don't Mess With Texas!

That rule — the agency’s response to the Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision in Massachusetts v. EPA – is both trigger and precedent for potentially dramatic and far-reaching Clean Air Act restrictions on fossil energy production and use.”

Cap & Trade - The Huge Mistake

This video was created by two EPA lawyers.
I strongly disagree with their AGW conclusions.
But, even they know the Cap & Trade bill is fatally flawed:

Carol Browner’s EPA is reportedly attempting to censor this video.
This page from the Williams and Zabel web site seems to confirm that.
(Just try and play the video on that page.)
And, we know that Browner’s EPA is prone to censorship.
So, don’t be surprised to see the above video “disappear”.
“The Real Solution” offered by these two San Francisco based EPA lawyers is every bit as flawed as the current Cap & Trade bill. It’s first fatal flaw is in assuming (incorrectly) that there is any real problem associated with carbon based energy. It’s second fatal flaw is in assuming any sort of government intervention will help anybody or any thing in any way. It never does!

Carol Browner Threatens Judicial Tyranny

The Dims have a long history of unconstitutionally imposing their tyranny through the unelected and unaccountable elements of the judicial branch.

When public opinion prevents them from achieving their goals in the legislature, they do an end run around our elected and accountable representatives and rely upon unelected judges to do their unconstitutional dirty work.

Now, the most dangerous politician in America is announcing the Dim intention to carry on that tyrannical tradition.

The tyrannical folly of Cap and Trade has been too thoroughly exposed. The Dims will never get it passed -- unless, of course, they can threaten us with even greater tyranny through the courts. And, now they have!

The EPA Silences a Climate Skeptic

How ironic that Carol Browner’s underlings at EPA would falsely accuse Mr. Carlin of being unqualified to evaluate the science. Ms. Browner, an English major turned lawyer, is the one who is entirely unqualified for her position -- unless, of course, her job is to use her legal “skills” to implement tyrannical Socialist policy which flies in the face of peer reviewed science. And, sadly, that is EXACTLY what her job is.
