It was recently announced that her and her husband = manager are getting divorced. Hopefully it won't impact her skiing.
Yeah, I saw the news on the filing for divorce. Hence, my wishing her the best -- in all of life.
Yesterday (12/2/11), Lindsey absolutely CRUSHED the world's best downhill racers. So, at least for now, her racing has not been adversely affected. I think Lindsey is the sort to channel any kind of adversity into even greater determination and accomplishment.
She has an amazing amount of self-discipline. She works harder at this than any other skier in the world. And, that's how she wins.
P.S.) Lindsey absolutely dominated the field again today to win her second downhill race in two days.
American Laurenne Ross was helicoptered off the mountain today after a horrific crash into the netting (and the not entirely forgiving netting posts). Other than a facial laceration, there's no word yet on the extent of her injuries. I hope she's okay.
P.P.S.) Update on Laurenne Ross -- apparently, she suffered only facial bruising (very good news).
