Quoting this page from this essay:
“A Gallup report last November found that only about four in ten Americans believes that immediate, drastic action is needed to deal with global warming, and just one in four says there will be ‘extreme’ effects of global warming in fifty years if efforts are not increased. Is this a failure of the experts and politicians to communicate the situation or a failure of journalists to dig and report?”
None of the above?
“drastic action is needed to deal with global warming”?
“there will be ‘extreme’ effects of global warming in fifty years if efforts are not increased”?
I’m sorry, but the peer reviewed science does NOT support EITHER CONCLUSION!
And yet, this so-called “journalist” does not even CONSIDER THE POSSIBILITY that NEITHER OF THESE is true!
Good GRIEF! Even the IPCC has subdued their alarmist rhetoric! The IPCC now estimates a mere 7”-23” of sea level rise in the next 100 years. See Table 3.1 on page 23 (as Adobe Acrobat sees it) of this IPCC link. But, even that modest estimate is based upon deeply flawed computer models which still assume a water vapor feedback mechanism which recent peer reviewed science is now proving not only incorrect, but upside down.
A failure to communicate? Are you kidding me? We get this propaganda rammed down our throats 24/7/365!
It JUST AIN’T TRUE, and the folks KNOW IT!
GEEZ!
