“Millard Public Schools will stop using a children's book about global warming -- but only until the district can obtain copies with a factual error corrected.
A review committee, convened after parents complained, concluded that author Laurie David's book, ‘The Down-to-Earth Guide to Global Warming,’ contained ‘a major factual error’ in a graphic about rising temperatures and carbon dioxide levels.”
The committee also decided to stop using a propaganda video narrated by actor and global warming activist Leonardo DiCaprio.
Neither DiCaprio nor two authors of the book have ANY academic background in science. And yet, until these parents complained about factual inaccuracies, their children were being politically indoctrinated with bald faced LIES from utterly unqualified and purely propagandizing sources.
This review describes the central lie in the book. Click here for my post containing directly cited peer reviewed science substantiating the FACT that -- during previous interglacial warming cycles -- the warming ALWAYS occurred BEFORE the CO2 levels rose. On average, the elevated CO2 levels lagged behind the warming by 800 years (as warmer oceans released dissolved CO2).
Once this factual error is (partially) corrected, we will still be left with purely one sided propaganda provided by political activists who have NO ACADEMIC BACKGROUND IN ANY BRANCH OF SCIENCE!
Parents beware! Today’s schools are nothing more than political indoctrination camps! HOME SCHOOL YOUR KIDS!
