The tyranny of judge Lucy Billings has been overturned.
Update #1:
Former ACLU lawyer who imposed this tyranny is “off the case”
The National Lawyers Guild strikes yet another blow against private property rights AND the rule of law. Zuccotti Park is privately owned, but open to the public (with legal restrictions governing how much access is allowed). The court just ignored the rule of law and arbitrarily changed the rules. That’s the sort of capricious tyranny we expect in a Communist country.
“Hundreds of police officers in riot gear before dawn Tuesday raided the New York City park where the Occupy Wall Street protests began, evicting and arresting dozens of protesters from what has become the epicenter of the worldwide movement with other cities, such as Dallas and London likely to follow suit. The National Lawyers Guild has never openly declared themselves to be a Marxist organization. But, there is absolutely no daylight between their agenda and the agenda of any Marxist organization in the world.
Hours later, the National Lawyers Guild obtained a court order allowing the protesters to return with their tents to the park, where they have camped for two months. The guild said the injunction prevents the city from enforcing park rules on the protesters who are now looking for squatters rights, despite park rules banning camping overnight.”

Zuccotti Park is, in the legal parlance, a “Privately Owned Public Plaza”.
If you own private property and want to make that property a “Privately Owned Public Plaza”, click here and examine the 119 pages of city regulations you’ll have to comply with. I can only imagine what county, state and federal regulations apply.
What a freaking nightmare!
