“March 2012 will go down as the warmest March in the United States since record-keeping began in 1895, NOAA said Monday.Let’s put that into proper context:
In addition, the three-month period of January, February and March was the warmest first quarter ever recorded in the Lower 48 states.”
1) Peer reviewed science finds a 30% warming bias in the NOAA NCDC data. This calls into question whether any records were really set.
2) If we arbitrarily select the last 120 months (exactly 10 years) of RSS satellite data, we find:
A) Ten years of significant global cooling.
B) Both March and the first quarter of 2012 are substantially BELOW the 10 year trend line.
