Quoting the U.K. Telegraph:“The significance of the past year is not just that the vaunted ‘consensus’ on the forces driving our climate has been blown apart as never before, but that a new ‘counter-consensus’ has been emerging among thousands of scientists across the world, given expression in last March's Manhattan Declaration by the so-called Non-Governmental Panel on Climate Change.”

“Yet it is at just this moment, when the IPCC's house of cards is crumbling, that the politicians of the Western world are using it to propose steps that can only damage our way of life beyond recognition.”
Let’s hope we can stop these counter scientific, self-serving alarmists before they do even MORE damage to an already fragile global economy in exchange for precisely ZERO BENEFIT!
Kyoto has cost the global economy over $0.5 Trillion and has produced NO BENEFIT!
That $0.5 Trillion, by the way, pales in comparison to the $45 Trillion which the IEA estimates would be, according to the peer reviewed science, utterly wasted in a completely futile attempt to micromanage the miniscule (and beneficial) warming effect of Man Made CO2.
The warming effect of Man Made CO2 over the next 100 years is estimated (in the mid-range, by an alarmist) at about 0.4C. Given all the other far stronger climate forcing factors, that tiny 0.4C may or may not even translate into a net warming over the next 100 years. The world is, after all, currently in a cooling trend.
