at The New York Post:
“Some 50 Occupy Wall Street protesters saw red yesterday -- giving an enthusiastic welcome to a genuine communist…
While he was speaking about the revolution, most of the demonstrators in Zuccotti Park were making plans for a long, cold winter…
‘those occupying Liberty Plaza [Zuccotti’s former name] ... are in need of emergency supplies crucial for cold-weather survival,’ organizers said on their Web site…
Nick Hommen, 29, a volunteer from Salem, Ore., who was handling donations, said some demonstrators were taking advantage of people’s generosity.
‘We can’t afford to keep buying new tents. It’s ridiculous the sense of entitlement people feel,’ Hommen said.”
1) Click here and examine the parallels to Animal Farm (written by a Socialist who was appalled that his Socialist fantasy could not survive any encounter with the real world).
Click here for a previous post comparing OWS to Animal Farm.
2) OWS has been (mistakenly) compared to the TEA Party.
Leaving aside all the violence, lawlessness, destruction, filth, drug abuse, public nudity, public sex, utter disrespect for the people who LIVE in the neighborhoods the OWS mobs illegally occupy (and MORE) -- the ONLY thing the two movements have in common is -- they both agree the banks should not have been bailed out.
From there, the TEA Party says NOBODY should be bailed out. In contrast, the OWS brats simply use the bank bailouts as an excuse to demand that they be bailed out and given everything their spoiled brat little hearts might desire for free.
OWS brats remind me of a 5 year old screaming:
“But, mommy, Johnny next door got an iPad. Why can’t I have one too?”
