(emphasis is mine):
“A school-cafeteria lunch lady and her husband have received hate mail, unwanted visits from reporters and fearful inquiries from neighbors — all because their Sanford-area address is being disseminated on Twitter as belonging to Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman…
Zimmerman traced the tweets — which he said have been retweeted by actor-director Spike Lee — to a man in California. Zimmerman has implored the man to stop and said he received this response, "Black power all day. No justice, no peace" and an obscenity.
Lee's tweet has been removed, but it continues to be retweeted.”
Will Spike Lee very publicly apologize?
Will Spike Lee compensate his victims?
Don’t hold your breath!

"A couple who say they were forced to leave their home after director Spike Lee re-tweeted their address to his Twitter followers has hired the Morgan & Morgan law firm to represent them."

I hope they take Spike for all he's worth. Of course, in my book, Spike ain't worth squat.
Click here and see that Spike has apologized to the utterly innocent family he never intended to harm and has said absolutely nothing about the family which -- one can only assume -- Spike hoped would become the victims of a vigilante mob.
Stay classy Spike - you pathetic little weasel.
P.S.) Which do YOU think was the more powerful motivator for Spike Lee to apologize to his victims (and, compensate them for their monetary losses)?
A) Spike's burning desire to right his OBVIOUS wrong?
B) The fact that his victims hired a lawyer to represent them.
I'm going with option B.
