Psychiatric Postmortem on Cancun Climate Insanity

The climate lunatics have concluded their taxpayer funded Cancun boondoggle. And, if one is to believe NASA and the IPCC, the world can do absolutely, positively NOTHING to reduce CO2 emissions and still easily meet the resolution agreed to in Cancun! See the substantiating evidence below:

Per the U.K. Telegraph, here is the psychiatric postmortem:

1) There was, once again, no legally binding treaty signed.

Thank heaven for that.

2) There were, however, feel good resolutions agreed to:

A) “The ‘Cancun package’… sets up a ‘green fund’ to help poor countries cope with climate change”

Okay, an IPCC expert now openly admits all this climate change hysteria was always solely intended to facilitate the forcible redistribution of global wealth. So, NO SURPRISE HERE!

B) “The Cancun deal commits all countries to keeping temperature rise below 2C (3.6F)”

In just the last 10,000 years, the Arctic has seen well over 3C of perfectly natural temperature variation and the Antarctic has seen about 4C of perfectly natural temperature variation.

Furthermore, an additional 2C of warming from current levels would still leave us well below the warmest temperatures from the previous perfectly natural interglacial warming period.

So, where do these lunatics get this magic 2C number as the maximum variation we can now tolerate?

But, wait! Here’s the REAL KICKER!

Just this week, NASA reports that doubling CO2 from CURRENT LEVELS would produce only 1.64C of warming (well below this magical 2C agreed upon in Cancun).

NASA reaches this conclusion based upon the ever growing consensus that previous assumptions about the water vapor response to elevated CO2 levels are not merely incorrect, but completely upside down.

But, wait! It gets BETTER!

The NASA report suggests that elevating CO2 to 780 ppm will ONLY produce 1.64C of warming AND the IPCC has projected an absolute WORST CASE scenario of 790 ppm of CO2 by the year 2100.

Summary & Conclusion:
According to NASA & the IPCC, the entire world can do absolutely, positively NOTHING to reduce CO2 emissions and still EASILY fall below the magical 2C of additional man made warming agreed upon by the climate lunatics at the taxpayer funded boondoggle in Cancun!
