Medal of Honor Recipient Ordered to Remove Flagpole

“Col. Van T. Barfoot, a local Medal of Honor winner, is under the gun from his Henrico County community's homeowner association.

In a five-paragraph letter to Barfoot that he received yesterday, Barfoot is being ordered to remove a flagpole from his yard. The decorated veteran of three wars, now 90 years old, raises the American flag every morning on the pole, then lowers and folds the flag at dusk each day in a three-corner military fashion.”

The homeowners association has the right to make and enforce whatever rules they (democratically) deem appropriate. They also have the right to (democratically) eliminate a stupid rule. I hope they do.

Col. Barfoot has my eternal gratitude. Only a sub-human moron would deny him the right to show his respect for our flag in this manner.

Tell The World Where You Stand on AGW Hysteria

12/2/09 Update: Voting is now closed and -- as is the case with EVERY poll, worldwide -- the skeptics carried the day.

The (propagandist) museum claims the following:

Among those physically visiting the museum, 3408 people chose to count in and 626 chose to count out. On the website, 2650 users counted in and 7612 counted out.

That indicates a grand total of:
6058 counted in
8238 counted out

Meaning, the skeptics carry the day. In response, the tax payer funded propagandist museum laments that:

“More work needs to be done to convince people of the reality of human-induced climate change and of the urgency with which we must agree an international solution. Public organisations, like the Science Museum, have a responsibility to lay out the [purely one-sided] evidence [propaganda] and open up public discussion.”

Furthermore, in the spirit of ClimateGate, it appears as if even the polling data have been fiddled! Geez!

The British Science Museum wants your opinion on whether world governments should agree to regulate CO2 when they meet next month (12/09) in Copenhagen.

I strongly suggest you vote to “count me out”.

One More Nail in Copenhagen's Coffin

Reuters -- ever true to the dictates of their overlords -- can always be counted on to preach the gospel according to AGW hysteria. And, this article is no exception.

But, the bottom line here is that Obama will have no Cap and Trade legislation to take to Copenhagen and, now, Rudd will have nothing to take to Copenhagen. India and China will (wisely) not sacrifice their progress in lifting their people out of poverty just to satisfy the high priests of the Western AGW religion.

So, mercifully, it is looking more and more like the best (or, more accurately, worst) the Copenhagen tyrants will come home with is a meaningless and toothless symbolic gesture. But, even if they fail to secure their power grab, these scumbags are perfectly happy to hypocritically indulge themselves in wining, dining and luxury travel at the taxpayer expense. So, after (hopefully) “accomplishing” nothing, they will soon begin booking their next boondoggle wherein they will take another stab (pun intended) at sodomizing the rest of the world.
