Interestingly, using data which contain a 30% warming bias, we see NO USA winter warming over the last 23 years (and counting). But, we DO see a dramatic 12 year winter cooling trend. Click here for more details and direct links to citations.
Globally, Phil Jones (of Climategate infamny) admits there has been no statistically significant global warming for the last 15 years and the alarmists at NOAA admit there has been no global warming since 1998:
“The trend in the ENSO-related component for 1999–2008 is +0.08±0.07°C decade, fully accounting for the overall observed trend. The trend after removing ENSO (the "ENSO-adjusted" trend) is 0.00°±0.05°C decade.”Of course, the most relevant studies are those which show that both the Arctic AND the Antarctic are experiencing an on-going, uninterrupted 10,000 year cooling trend which shows NO SIGNS of abating. No wonder the alarmists suddenly embrace cold and snow as being “consistent” with Catastrophic Man Made Global Warming. What else could they do? Worse still (for the alarmists), peer reviewed science suggests they will be stuck in this particularly desperate mode for at least the next decade.
Well, if Global Warming caused the record breaking November snowfall here at Steamboat, then give me some more Global Warming!

Just ten years ago, the alarmists sang a different tune.
