SNL Dims Confuse Debt with Deficit

Quoting SNL’s Jimmy McMillan impersonator:

“The [federal] deficit is fourteen trillion dollars.”

Dims will argue that this gaff was part of their satire.
Yes, Weekend Update often has impersonators make deliberate gaffs.
And, each time they deliberately do so, Seth always corrects them.
Seth did not correct this gaff. So, is Seth & company equally ignorant?
