I support expanding nuclear power, but not through crony capitalism (obviously targeted at throwing OUR money at Obama’s labor unions)!
WHEN did the freaking Energy Department (overlorded by the overtly Socialist Carol Browner) become a goddamn bank?
This is just one more example of moronic Federal Bureaucrats picking winners and losers in the energy sector and offering big business all the rewards of success while FORCING tax payers to assume ALL THE RISK! That is EXACTLY how the housing market blew up!
As for the escalating costs of building a new plant…
Scratch the surface of THAT topic and you are guaranteed to find a fat pack of trial lawyers just under the surface (feeding tons of money back into the Dims who fund them).
