That cached page was superseded on or before 1/12/09 and is no longer available. However, we will still have this screenshot and this (overlapping) screenshot to remember it by. Carol Browner Threatens Judicial Tyranny

The Dims have a long history of unconstitutionally imposing their tyranny through the unelected and unaccountable elements of the judicial branch.

When public opinion prevents them from achieving their goals in the legislature, they do an end run around our elected and accountable representatives and rely upon unelected judges to do their unconstitutional dirty work.

Now, the most dangerous politician in America is announcing the Dim intention to carry on that tyrannical tradition.

The tyrannical folly of Cap and Trade has been too thoroughly exposed. The Dims will never get it passed -- unless, of course, they can threaten us with even greater tyranny through the courts. And, now they have!

Last week, somebody from the EPA arrived at my blog by Googling the phrase “EPA tyranny”. They initially landed on this page and continued on to this page (exposing the overtly Socialist Carol Browner). I’m wondering if the administrators of the EPA were as disgusted with Carol Browner as I was. I would like to think my blog might have had something to do with the following story -- who knows.

Good riddance!It’s great to see Browner gone. But, the question remains as to whether we still have purely political radicals running the EPA. I’m pretty sure we do. This battle is far from over! But, Anthony Watts noticed that Obama avoided any climate related discussion in his SOTU speech. Has Obama begun to understand that the public is NOT buying what the climate charlatans are selling? I doubt it. But, at least he’s smart enough to avoid the subject (and dumb enough to continue to suggest that government should continue to subsidize failure, fraud and massive corruption in the so-called “clean energy” scams). That battle is also far from over.

Who Pays For Cap and Trade

Anybody who thought Obama would lower their taxes was a SUCKER!
CO2 cap and trade is a VERY high price to pay for a big fat lie!

Hit hardest would be the ‘95% of working families’ Mr. Obama keeps mentioning, usually omitting that his no-new-taxes pledge comes with the caveat ‘unless you use energy.’ Putting a price on carbon is regressive by definition because poor and middle-income households spend more of their paychecks on things like gas to drive to work, groceries or home heating…

The Congressional Budget Office… estimates that the price hikes from a 15% cut in emissions would cost the average household in the bottom-income quintile about 3.3% of its after-tax income every year. That's about $680, not including the costs of reduced employment and output. The three middle quintiles would see their paychecks cut between $880 and $1,500, or 2.9% to 2.7% of income. The rich would pay 1.7%.”

Anyone who falsely hopes that redistributing the cap and trade revenues might ultimately benefit the two very lowest quintiles - as one option in this CBO figure implies - should note that the middle quintile gets screwed in EACH of those redistribution schemes. They should also understand that each blow to the upper quintile has all the effects (and more) described in this cartoon.

When the upper quintile gets punished by class warfare oriented Marxist government bureaucrats, the bottom 4 quintiles ALWAYS suffer the most!

That rule — the agency’s response to the Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision in Massachusetts v. EPA – is both trigger and precedent for potentially dramatic and far-reaching Clean Air Act restrictions on fossil energy production and use.”

EPA Tyrants Defy Even Obama

Quoting Executive Order 13563 issued by Obama on 1/18/11 (emphasis mine):

“Our regulatory system must protect public health, welfare, safety, and our environment while promoting economic growth, innovation, competitiveness, and job creation.”

Quoting The Daily Caller (emphasis mine):

“EPA Assistant Administrator Mathy Stanislaus testified Thursday [4/14/11] before an Environment and Energy subcommittee hearing that his agency does not take jobs into account when it issues new regulations.”

Remember, Obama promised to bankrupt the coal industry. So, is it possible that Obama told the EPA that his Executive Order was just for show and that the EPA should continue with their job killing tyranny?

This week, we also saw that -- when it comes to his precious Czars -- Obama is perfectly willing to sign an agreement and then back out on it.

It should be obvious to all that nobody can believe anything Obama says, does or signs -- EVER! Unfortunately, the Obama Zombies -- living in the fantasy world fabricated by the Lame Stream Media -- will never understand that.

How ironic that Carol Browner’s underlings at EPA would falsely accuse Mr. Carlin of being unqualified to evaluate the science. Ms. Browner, an English major turned lawyer, is the one who is entirely unqualified for her position -- unless, of course, her job is to use her legal “skills” to implement tyrannical Socialist policy which flies in the face of peer reviewed science. And, sadly, that is EXACTLY what her job is.
