(attempting to rationalize the Dim spending spree):
“‘There but for the grace of God go I,’ we say to ourselves, and so we contribute to programs like Medicare and Social Security, which guarantee us health care and a measure of basic income after a lifetime of hard work; unemployment insurance, which protects us against unexpected job loss; and Medicaid, which provides care for millions of seniors in nursing homes, poor children, and those with disabilities,” Obama said. “We are a better country because of these commitments. I’ll go further – we would not be a great country without those commitments.”
So, Obama is saying America was not great prior to 1965?
Was this a one sentence departure from his beloved teleprompter?
Here is the fool spouting his usual nonsense:
I have very fond memories of the days before the phenomenal waste, fraud, corruption and abuse that came with Medicare and Medicaid -- both signed into law in 1965. There is absolutely, positively, no question that the American people were FAR better off without this massive government intervention.
Today, scamming Medicare is so easy and so safe that the Italian Mafia have virtually abandoned all their other criminal activities to focus solely on Medicare fraud.
But, according to Barack Hussein Obama, America was not a great country prior to the colossal disasters perpetrated upon the American people by the Dims in 1965.
